Use This Ingredient To Cleanse Your Liver: Effective Traditional Russian Method
Before the iconic California Raisins became popular, people shunned the idea of eating raisins because they were turned off by this tiny fruit’s appearance. After all, what could a dry, wrinkly fruit have to offer that we couldn’t get from a more appealing fruit? But the more this shriveled grape quartet belted out tunes like “I Heard it through the Grapevine,” the more intrigued we became. Soon, everyone was touting the benefits of raisins.
At the height of the raisin craze, experts cited a number of nutritional benefits…
Boron: For healthy bones
Fiber: To promote a healthy digestive tract
Prebiotics: To stimulate the good bacteria
Antioxidants: To protect the body from free radicals.
Case in point, the American College of Cardiology and the Journal of Food Science suggest that a daily dose of this sweet, delicious fruit will control blood pressure and cholesterol levels. And that’s not all. Raisins contain vitamins B, C, and E as well as oleanolic acid and phytonutrients which prevent cavities and gum disease.

Fast forward to today. The revival of the raisin reminds us how effective this delicious fruit can be in detoxifying the liver. The liver is responsible for harmonizing the blood, arranging nutrients, synthesizing proteins, and moving harmful substances from the body. Prescription drugs, improper diet, and environmental factors can accumulate in the body causing the liver to malfunction. If the liver is not functioning properly, serious illnesses and diseases can occur.
One of the best ways to cleanse and detoxify the liver is by consuming raisins. In fact, soaking raisins in water before consumption will balance the liver quickly and improve overall health. Opt for dark, organic raisins with a dull, wrinkled appearance. Ideally, raisins with the stem attached are the best.

Soak a 1/2 cup of raisins in water for 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. Next, place the raisins in a cup and fill it with boiled water. Cover for at least eight hours. On an empty stomach, drink the raisin water and eat the raisins. Lie down for at least an hour, placing a hot water bottle or hot compress on the right side of the abdomen to help loosen the stomach muscles. Repeat once a week for four months, and then every six months.
Just a reminder—consumed in large quantities raisins may cause diarrhea. Other potential side effects include nausea, headaches, and muscular problems.
