As an example of these weird effects, a new Danish research shows that drinking non-diet soda builds up fat around the liver and skeletal muscles, which eventually leads to insulin resistance and diabetes. This research also shows that having only one soda a day for six month, causes 30 percent increase in blood triglyceride and 11 percent increase in blood cholesterol, which is really a big deal!
