Breast Pain

Breast pain (mastalgia), a common complaint among women, is often described as chronic tenderness, sharp burning or tightness in one or both breasts. It may happen occasionally or the pain may persist during the menstrual cycle. Although the pain mostly happens in younger women, but it may happen in any ages, even in postmenopause.

The good news is most of the times, this pain is not a sign of breast cancer. But if this pain persists during the next menstrual cycle you should see your doctor.
