Simply adding 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of raw honey to 16 ounces of water before blending results in a before meal drink that has several healthy benefits.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Vinegar is known to help digestion, lower cholesterol, fight cancer and lower blood sugar. It should be noted that only pure and unfiltered vinegar offers these benefits.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon has a long history of medicinal uses, and the spice is readily available at little expense. Research shows that cinnamon has antioxident qualties, is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It also helps to lower blood sugar and assists insulin by improving the movement of glucose to the cells.

Lemon Juice

Adding fresh squeezed lemon juice to the drink makes it more flavorful, and also has several added health benefits. Lemon aids in digestion and helps to prevent constipation, and is also a recognized blood purifier. The ability of lemon juice to promote weight loss is the most obvious reason it is included in this healthy drink.
