See What Happens To Your When Your Press On These Points On Your Palms

Did you know that you hold the power to heal your body in the palm of your hand? Gene son Jitsu is an ancient Japanese method of regulating energy in the body by pressing on specific points on the hands. Each point on the fingers is associated with at least one organ in the body as well as an emotion. This healing method is related to acupressure and acupuncture.

Press One of The Fingers

Thumb

The thumb regulates the spleen and the stomach as well as depression and anxiety. If you are feeling emotionally stressed or overwhelmed or are experiencing stomach pain, headaches or skin problems, pressing on the tip of the thumb will help bring you balance.

Index Finger

If you have trouble with your bladder and kidneys, look to this point to alleviate trouble with those organs. Manipulating the point on the index finger can also help you manage disappointment, fear, and confusion. Pressing this spot can get rid of toothaches, muscle pains, back problems, and heartburn.

Middle Finger

The point on the middle finger regulates the gall bladder and liver, two organs that are vital for improving digestion and filtering toxins. If you’re having problems with your temper or are feeling irritable or indecisive, pressing on this spot can improve your mood. It can also relieve pain from menstrual cramps, migraines or frontal headaches. The point on the middle finger helps improve vision and blood circulation too.

Ring Finger

Pressing the ring finger point can help stimulate colon and lung function. It can also improve emotions that have to do with sadness, such as fear of rejection and negativity. People experiencing digestive problems, skin conditions or respiratory problems such as asthma may get relief when pressing on this point.

Pinky Finger

The spot on the smallest finger of the hand regulates the heart and small intestine. When feeling nervous, worried or insecure, your confidence may improve by pressing on this point.

Manipulating this spot can also resolve issues with bones, heart problems, throat pain and bloating.

The base of the Thumb

The base of the thumb can be pressed to help with cough and respiratory distress. Depressing this point can also improve thyroid function.

Center of Palm

The very center of the palm regulates the stomach. Pressing on this spot can help alleviate abdominal pain or digestive distress.

Fleshy Part of Palm

The fleshy area of the palm between the base of the thumb and the wrist is responsible for heart and endocrine function. This spot can help regulate heart problems and balance out the hormones.

Exterior of Palm

Directly across the midline of the palm from the fleshy part is the exterior palm point. Pressing here can help with appendix issues and problems controlling blood sugar.

Except for the thumb, where the point lies at the tip, the point that should be stimulated on the fingers lies on the palm side of the hand, between the first and second knuckles. The points should be stimulated by gently pressing on them and kneading each spot for 3 to 5 seconds while taking deep, slow breaths. Massage all the points for a general sense of wellbeing.
