10 Early Warning Signs of Cancer Most People Ignore

When talking about cancer, early detection is the key; and nobody is better than you in finding new strange signs in your body. Here you can find a list of 10 warning signs that may indicate cancer. If you have any of these signs please don’t panic, and please don’t ignore. All you need to do is to see a healthcare professional. Remember, you’re not alone:

1. Lumps.

If you notice any lump or some sort of swelling in your body which you feel is growing or causing discomfort, then you must consult with your doctor. Although it might be benign, it can also be a sign of something more serious. Lumps can be found anywhere under your skin, such as armpits, breasts, neck, or chin.

2. Abnormal Bleeding.

If you are suffering from abnormal bleeding from anywhere in your body, including your mouth, rectum, vagina or urethra, you should see your doctor. If you bleed after c or between periods It can be a sign of uterus (womb) cancer. When you notice blood in your urine it may due to a kidney, urethra, or bladder tumor. When you bleed while coughing and vomiting it may due to respiratory or loose gastrointestinal tumors.

3. Moles.

An abnormal mole of irregular size, color, shape, and a diameter of more than 7 mm might be a sign of skin cancer. Moles that are a sign of cancer are usually itchy. They may be pink, red, brown, black, or white in color. Usually, malignant moles had a recent change in size or other features

4. Hoarseness in voice.

A voice of hoarse can also be a sign of cancer. If it continues for a longer period then you must see your doctor as it may be dangerous.

5. Pain.

If you are having back pain or a headache that is not going away even after getting treated by your doctor, then it might be a serious issue as it may be a sign of cancer which has already started spreading.

6. Fatigue.

If you are feeling extremely tired even after hours of rest, then it may be a sign of stomach cancer or leukemia. Of course, there are dozens of other issues that may cause chronic fatigue.

7. Fever.

Fever is a very common sign of cancer and it happens to most cancer patients at some point in their disease.

8. Sudden Weight Loss.

Losing weight suddenly and without any reason might also be a sign of cancer. If you notice to have shed a lot of pounds during the last couple of months, then you should immediately see your doctor for further evaluation.

9. Change in Bowel Habits.

If you are suffering from diarrhea or constipation for unknown reasons and/or you are noticing blood in your stool, then you should go and talk to your general practitioner.

10. Coughing, Chest Pain, and Breathlessness.

If you are coughing consistently for more than 3 weeks and/or you notice some blood in your sputum, you must see your doctor. Breathlessness and chest pain caused by such a cough might be signs of cancer. Please note that respiratory infections or some other health issues can cause similar problems.
