½ cup of fresh ginger root
Sharp knife or grater
3 cups of water

2 – To quell appetite and aid digestion, begin by sipping a ginger tea. Chop ½ cup ginger into a saucepan with 3 cups of boiling water and simmer for 3 minutes. Do this 3 times per day.
