Follow the directions on the package of beans, I cook and soak mine in a crock pot with a clove of garlic overnight. Next day pour out almost all the water, smash them up with a potato masher, add 1/2 cup salsa, 1/2 cup taco sauce, chopped onions and peppers, and cheddar cheese to taste… mmmmmmmmmm….
