BAKING SODA SHAMPOO: It Will Make Your Hair Grow Like It Is Magic

This Homemade Chemical Free Shampoo Will Save Your Hair

There are so many shampoos in the market, it’s so hard to choose one that is appropriate for the type of hair and type of budget. The amount of harsh-sounding chemical contents is also alarming due to the probability of causing more damage than an enhancement to the hair. Keeping the hair clean is not a complex science; hundreds of shampoo types and brands have been out in the market each with a different formulation and a different claim. The latest and the most astonishing news about keeping the hair clean is not about a new brand of shampoo, but a new way of washing the hair. People are talking now about washing the hair not using shampoos, but utilizing baking soda and apple cider vinegar instead. Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is a natural mineral which has long been recognized and extensively used. In short, it is one of those harmless chemicals, together with apple cider vinegar.

The baking soda cleans away the dirt from the hair and keeps it absorbent so that moisture can come in and get absorbed. Using apple cider vinegar to rinse it will literally “lock in” the moisture in, leaving the hair soft and smooth, not dry and stiff.

The method currently being talked about is washing the hair by using baking soda mixture and rinsing it off with the apple cider vinegar. This shampoo-and-conditioner alternative keeps the hair clean longer, so that it only needs washing no more than twice a week. And yet people agree that the hair stays clean longer, feels softer, smoother and smells super clean.

This is really startling because we assume that hair washed with baking soda and rinsed with vinegar will definitely smell vinegary. However, it was not the case; the hair smelled clean with no trace of the vinegar smell.

The formula is a mixture of baking soda and water to wash the hair, and a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water to rinse it later. After a few weeks of usage and adjustment, the hair will come out softer and cleaner longer, and a lot of money for shampoo and conditioner will have been saved.

Preparation:

Mix one part of baking soda to one part of water. (Example – mix 1 tablespoon baking soda to 1 tablespoon of water.) Use the same proportion for the vinegar rinse. Increase the quantity using the same proportions longer and thicker hair.

Wash the hair, massaging the baking soda mixture on the scalp. Rinse thoroughly. Massage the scalp with the vinegar rinse and then rinse thoroughly. Repeat only after every 3-4 days.

Give the hair a few weeks to acclimate to the new washing method, then see and appreciate the difference.
