10 Signs Your Life is on the Right Track
Edited BY Stephanie Dawson
We all have moments of dread which can come out of nowhere. If you are aware of what your existential dread is you have a chance to fix that yourself which would mean that your life is on the right track. This dread can be anything from a board meeting that you wanted to skip or a doctor’s appointment.
• Your reputation precedes you
Sometimes you want to know the reason for your existence in this world and you get an answer to this question in a most unexpected manner. Imagine when you receive an email with a job opening that perfectly suits you. You might not be looking to upend your professional life at this juncture but it does mean that a certain corner of the world has been claimed by you.
• The passports are within reach
An important thing like passport should be within reach when you really need it. You might not need it right now, but you should know where it is in case you want to use it.
• Your spouse leaves you a crossed wires voicemail of love
If you call your spouse or friend and you reach their voicemail because that person is trying to call you at the same time it means there is a deep connection between you. It s also a sign that you are doing something right.
• Your metaphorical clog is cleared by you
There is no harm in asking for help if you need it but if you start asking for help every time and for every little problem, that is not a good sign. Try solving your problems yourself as much as possible, especially the small day to day problems.
• The plants will not undo you
At times other people might ask for your help but are you ready for that? For instance if your neighbor asks you to water her plants for a week as she will be away, do you have time and patience to say yes to it? If your answer is yes, your life seems to be on the right track.
• You are susceptible to sparrow joy
All of us get excited by something when we are in the right state of mind, in the wrong state of mind the same things are just occurrences. These things can be a favorite song, a flock of sparrows all lifting at once, or anything else that excites you.
• You have good peer pressure
When you are in a position where you admire your peers, acknowledge their success, and feel happy for them, your life is on right track.
• Accepting criticism in a positive manner
If someone criticizes you, your life is not necessarily off-track. Find out what went wrong and what you can learn from it. If you are able to figure this out, your life is on the right track.
• You never lose hope
Its that frame of mind wherein you have been trying to achieve a particular goal but have failed a few times. If you still believe that its not the end of the world and by making the small changes in your plan and your approach to achieve that goal, you can still get there, your life is on the right track.
