School experiment discovers garden cress won’t germinate near a router

garden cress (2)Garden Cress is a rather fast-growing, edible herb, genetically related to watercress and mustard, sharing their peppery, tangy flavor and aroma. It easily sprouts in just a small amount of slightly alkaline water, or at least it was thought that way, until now.
Thanks to a 12 day-science experiment of a group of 5 scholar girls at Hjallerup School in North Jutland, where they placed the garden cress seeds in 12 tubs and split into two batches. Both batches were placed in different rooms but with the same conditions (temperature, water and sunlight), expecting both batches of 6 tubs to grow equally well, which didn’t happen.

router
This is thought to be because they were placed next to two routers, even though it has not been identified as the exact reason why, it is thought that the radiation produced by the routers is what stopped the seeds germinating, the experiment was geared towards testing the potential impact of phone radiation on surrounding objects.
