4 All Natural Homemade Hair Masks

Here we have Four different masks for each type of hair that you can easily make in minutes using all-natural ingredients you probably have sitting in your refrigerator or cupboard right now!

Dry hair/ Damaged Hair –Olive Oil and Egg

Is your hair damaged from straightening, curling, blow drying or even dying your hair? You can try this hair mask two to three times a month to help get your damaged hair back in shape.

Mix three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil with One egg Yolk and apply the mixture to your dry hair Use hair cap to avoid any mess and let the mixture sit on your hair for 30 minutes or more before rinsing in the shower. You can Shampoo your hair after rinsing with water .

Egg yolks won’t only make your hair softer, shinier and healthier but help you to grow it long as well. And, in order to get all the benefits egg yolks provide, simply mix 2 egg yolks with 2 tbsp of olive oil, dilute the mixture by adding a cup of water and then slowly and thoroughly massage this mask into your scalp. Give your hair and scalp 15 to 20 minutes to absorb all the needed nutrients and then rinse off.

The olive oil will help hydrate brittle locks, while the protein in the eggs will promote healthy hair growth.

All hair types — Avocado and Honey

Ingredients:

1 whole avocado
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon olive oil

Use the whole avocado and mix in a tablespoon of organic honey, use your hand for mixing it because this way you will get a better mixture. Apply it on dry hair from root to end ( use more on your ends ) allow it to sit for 30 minutes or more before rinsing it off in the shower.

Avocados are rich in a variety of vitamins and nutrients, including vitamin E and protein, both of which your hair needs to remain soft and healthy. Meanwhile, honey is a natural antibacterial agent.

Oily hair — Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon

Ingredients:

1- Apple Cider Vinegar
2- Lemon

Combine 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with the grated peel of an entire lemon Apply it on your dry hair and allow it to set for 15 minutes to absorb the excess oil from your scalp, and then rinse in the shower.

Apple cider vinegar will remove build up from styling products and conditioners and strengthen the hair shaft, leaving you with soft, shiny strands. It will also balance hair’s pH level, kill bacteria, and is a cure for dandruff.

Dry, flaky scalp hair — Banana, Honey and Almond

Ingredients:

1-Half a Banana
2-Honey
3-Almond oil

Mash together 1/2 a ripe banana and add two tablespoons of honey and a few drops of almond oil and allow it to set with a shower cap on for 20 minutes before rinsing.

Bananas can increase the moisture of your hair, smooth frizz and soothe your itchy scalp.
