The Power Antioxidant Drink

This drink is so full of various antioxidants that blows your mind! Oolong and black tea, berries, honey, lime and more importantly ginger, all are amazing sources of antioxidants and they together harmonically come together. You can even serve this drink for your guests and you can add red wine and bring it to the next level in your parties.

Ingredients:

2-inch piece of fresh ginger root
1 orange/lime or lemon cut in thin layers (with skin)
1 cup blueberries or strawberries
3 bags Oolong tea (or 3 teaspoons of loose oolong tea)
2 bags black Tea (or 2 teaspoons of loose black tea)
2 pears or apples diced (optional)
3 Tbs honey
Ice

Instruction:

Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin slices. In a medium sauce pan bring 4 cups of water to boil. Once it’s boiling, add the ginger slices, Cover the saucepan and reduce the heat and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat, add oolong and black tea, cover the saucepan and let it rest for another 5-10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and strain the tea. Let it cool down for another 5 minutes.

Put the diced fruits and lemons in a pitcher. Fill a third of the pitcher with ice on top of the fruits. Pour the tea on top of the ice. Add honey and stir well. Enjoy!
