About 5 to 15 percent of people are left-handed! Interestingly, 4 out of the last 7 U.S. presidents are left-handed: Presidents Obama, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Gerald Ford. Other famous examples of left-handers are: Joan of Arc, Napoléon Bonaparte, Alexander the Great, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo.

According to a research published in the American Journal of Psychology, left-handed people are more creative than righties and have the upper hand in at least one creative facet — they’re better at divergent thinking, a method of idea generation that explores many possible solutions. It’s also good to know that if both parents are left-handed, half of their children might be left-handed. If two parents are right-handed, only %2 of their children would be left-handed.
